  8. DRUGS WHICH ARE COMMONLY ABUSED

  11. ALCOHOL - Obtained from Bars and Public Houses. Taken Orally, normal dose
  12. varies between 5 & 10 pints. Most commonly prescribed is Newcastle Brown
  13. Ale trade name 'Dog'. Acts centrally by inhibiting acceptable behaviour.
  14. Above the Therapeutic range the Chemoreceptor Trigger Zone may produce a
  15. vomiting response.

  17. Side effects include frequenting Curry Houses in the Selly Oak area,
  18. sleeping with people you wouldn't spit on when you were sober, singing
  19. Rugby songs and saying embarrassing things. Also Willie Droop Syndrome may
  20. be observed in the badly affected.

  23. CANNABIS - Trade name 'Ganja'. Usually bought from dubious individuals
  24. called Dave, and smoked at Selly Oak Lawyers Parties. Acts brilliantly,
  25. with an increased tendency to laugh  at things which aren't funny e.g.
  26. Terry and June, The Jimmy Tarbuck Show etc.

  29. ECTASY - Trade name  'Acciiiiieeeeeed'. Only taken  when dancing to crap
  30. musak. Acts by inhibiting 'Music Taste Centre' in the Hypothalamus. It was
  31. first used to enable Record Store workers to work long periods of time
  32. whilst listening to Kylie Minogue singles.

  35. COCAINE - Taken nasally. Produces a  euphoric effect of making you forget
  36. how much you paid for it. Acts on the 'Crack' receptor in the CNS.

  38. Side Effects - Spending lots of money in a short time e.g. a term's grant
  39. in a week-end.

  42. HEROIN - Trade name 'Smack'. Taken by prats. Acts by knocking five shades
  43. of s**t out of your CNS. Makes you think that you can do anything you want
  44. to do, including giving it up.

  46. Side Effects - Being arrested. Being cremated.
